Thverá river- a new and exciting salmon river

The Thverá River in Fljótshlíð flows into the lower reaches of the  East Rangá River.

This river is  smaller with many completely clear pools. The smolt releasing program is ensuring that there are many more salmon to be caught each season.

The catch in recent years is over 300 salmon and approximately the same number of trout  are also caught each season.

Season: 1st July till 27th of October.

This river has 4 rods and they are sold together.
